POSITIVE WOMEN OF THE WORLD BOOK

AIDS Committee of Toronto

A portion of my work is done as a volunteer and it can’t get shared for the privacy of the subjects. A handful of times after my surgery in 2019, I was invited to take portraits of the women’s group who met at the (now folded) AIDS Committee of Toronto, giving the women fun and beautiful photos of themselves. It was in 2022 that then program coordinator, Savannah Nash, invited me back for a special project where the images could be shared. I am truly honoured to have worked with every person who participated. an absolutely necessary oral history of women from all over the world, living with HIV here and now in Toronto.
